Installing the Mod Manager, Mods & Addons

Two different ways of installing the Mod Manager. This can be applied to Mods and Addons too as they are all packed the same.

#1 - Automated Install:
Download and open the Mod Manager's automated installer and follow the steps to complete the installation.
When it promps you to select the install location you need to locate and select your "Fallout Tactics" folder.

#2 - Manual Install:
Download and open the Mod Manager's .ZIP file and extract its contents to your Fallout Tactics folder to install.

Example install locations:
   C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\Fallout Tactics
   C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Fallout Tactics
   C:\Program Files (x86)\Interplay\Fallout Tactics
   C:\Program Files (x86)\14 Degrees East\Fallout Tactics

Stuff you should know

Debug/Troublshooting: The Debug menu can be found on the Tools page and in the Debug menu there are a few options that might be of some use to you, one of the options is (Layout.html) this tool can help with modifying buttons on the Mod Manager or to create a whole new page.

The other option is (Log.bat) this tool will create a .txt file with a list of the contents of your Fallout Tactics folder, probably less useful for you and more useful for someone else thats helping you fix or troubleshoot an installation issue.

Log.bat: This tool creates "MManager_Log.txt" in your Fallout Tactics folder or whereever the Log.bat is. You can send this file to RobertHouse on Mod DB or to anyone that is assisting you with an issue. This file just containes a list of all the files in the directory and sub-directories that the Log.bat is in and is re-generated every time the tool is used.

Windowed Mode

Using Windowed Mode can be useful for modders or for quickly switching between the game and other aplications. You can run multiple instances of the game and that can be useful when using the editors.

TO EXIT WINDOWED MODE: If you wish to exit windowed mode simply go into yourgames Settings and sellect the screens new full-screen resolution.

The tool that comes with the Mod Manager "Windowed Mode" can be downloaded and used seperatly, without the Mod Manager installed. Downlad the standalone Windowed Mode launcher HERE. Also if you install the Mod Manager after you've downloaded the stand alone Windowed mode tool, don't worry about uninstalling it as the tool will be directly replaced by the one in the Mod Manager.
